Calendar Rules

The Contest begins at 9:00 am on August 15th, 2022 and ends at 11:59 pm on September 25th, 2022.
Prizes

One (1) pet photo will be selected to be featured on the front cover of the 2023 Ruffin’s Pet Centre calendar. Twenty-Four (24) to Fifty (50) other photos will be selected to be featured in the calendar. The selected Entrants above will receive five (5) free Calendars to keep/distribute to friends and family. Winners will get no prize beyond what is described above. Prizes have no retail or monetary value. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prizes permitted.

How to Enter

To enter the contest go to www.facebook.com/ruffinspetcentre or email petpics@ruffinspet.com to submit a photo. Photo must be accompanied by; Pets Name, Pet Type, Owners Email Address, & the Ruffin’s Pet Centre location they visit.

Please note: If you’re submitting a photo on Facebook and don’t feel comfortable leaving your email in comments please send us a personal message with the above information and your pets’ picture.

• Good lighting
• Clear photo not blurry
• Large file size
• Avoid having people in the photos
• Be aware of what’s in the background
• Seasonal photos are always welcome!

Photo Submission Guidelines

Only colour digital photo submissions will be accepted. Photos must be submitted electronically. Photos should be a high-resolution image in .gif, .jpg, or .png format.

By submitting an Entry, you grant Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to use, copy, reproduce, distribute, edit, adapt, display and otherwise use all or any part of my entry on Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. websites, and Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. business in any media formats, and through any media channels. The right and license granted to Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. includes the right of Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. (but not the obligation of Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc.) to (1) post the entry on Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. websites; (2) use the entry to promote Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. current and future marketing campaigns or initiatives; (3) edit, modify, format, or adapt the entry for Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. purposes and use such revised version to the same extent as the original entry; and (4) use the entry for advertising and promotional uses, including but not limited to the 2023 Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. calendar. You hereby waive your moral rights, if any, in and to your photo in favour of Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc., and you hereby agree to confirm such grant and waiver in writing at the request of Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. You hereby confirm your understanding that you shall not receive any compensation monetary or otherwise, from Ruffin’s Pet Centre Inc. in connection with this Contest or Your Entry.

Winner Determination

Photos will be assessed by Ruffin’s Pet Centres head office, based on the following criteria; is the image high quality, pet is in focus, clear not blurry photo, good lighting, seasonal appropriateness, content & visual impact. Winners will be notified by October 30th, 2022 if their picture has been chosen.
